To Amplify or Not to Amplify your Sprint Mobile Broadband Card?
Our customers often ask us how to improve their signal. The biggest determination of internet speed is based on location. First, what kind of network are you near? Rev A, which is the fastest will give you broadband speeds. If in a more rural area outside of Rev A, your top speed could be 144Kbps. We have a great Sprint Coverage map on our site to check your coverage. So, if you are in a less than perfect area, what can you do? One is to get an Antenna. These are passive and have no power behind them, but do offer a much better antenna than is build into the card itself. However, if you really want to bump your signal from 1 bar to 3, 4 or even 5 bars an Amplifier is the way to go. These add 3 watts of power to your card, and can pull a signal from a much farther distance than an Antenna alone. For specific questions, give our office a call to discuss your situation.
